Kaos Joker’s Adventure on: Endless Space: Gold Edition
Endless Space is a turn based strategy were the you control an empire in a fight to control space and the precious resource, Dust.
The game map is a top down view of space with stars out lined and named along with warp jump paths to show travel routes between the different stars. The main goal of the game is to achieve a dominate victory in science, diplomacy or military.
You choose a faction from the selection and start with a home system. From there you can build extra ships and colonise other systems. You can research new tech to build better ships, colonise new types of planet and unlock planet improvements. When you capture a system, you can build on each planet you have colonised and different constructions provide a different resource to the systems resource income pool.
The combat in the game is all automatic, which can get very boring some times to watch. You pick 3 strategy cards to use, one for the long rage stage, one for the mid range stage and one for the melee stage. These cards can determine the out come of the battle. You can customise you ships and later add bomber hangers and planetary nukes and much more. The combat scenes look amazing graphic wise and as boring as they are, they are sometime really nice to watch.

The problem i have with the game is once you hit the stage were you have a good set of fleets and a stable economy, you cant loose and there is much to do other then tediously take over every system until the game ends with you the victor.
The game is very fun to play (until you hit the unstoppable stage) and there are 8 or so factions with different ships and tech, so its nice to see all the ships and tech. But I would say the game has a low re-playability factor.
The multi play is fun for a while until you fight your mate and you are both insanely powerful, making the game drag on for much longer then it should which is never good with a turn based strategy. If you were to buy it, get it on sale.
Thank you for reading and join me next time for another great adventure :)
